Film Intro Survey

1. What is the first movie that really made a strong impression on you?
The Wizard of Oz.  I was obsessed with this movie when I was little and dressed up as the characters and knew all the songs.  The Wizard of Oz was my childhood.
2. What are your favorite genres?
Indie/ Arthouse, Well-written comedy, sci-fi
3. What are your least favorite genres?
Documentary, Historical, Horror
4. What are your five favorite films?
Lost In Translation, Little Miss Sunshine, The Royal Tenenbaums, Amadeus, But I’m a Cheerleader
5. List three characteristics of what you consider to be a good movie.
It has a deeper meaning than just the surface, it pays attention to detail, it brings new and creative ideas to the realm of filmmaking
6. What are some of your least favorite movies?
Kissing Jessica Stein, Anchorman 2, Race To Witch Mountain
7. List three characteristics of what you consider to be a bad movie.
Unoriginal movies, try-hard movies that feel forced, bad acting

Wes Anderson, Sofia Coppola, Stanley Kubrick
